Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to provide leadership and oversight of the research program, ensuring ethics, integrity, and collaboration.

The role supports the planning, conduct, and evaluation of clinical research and ensures compliant budgeting and reporting processes across multiple teams. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, supervising personnel, onboarding new staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance and study lifecycle

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Certifications /Professional Licenses: Basic Life Support – American Heart Association, Basic Life Support – American Red Cross
• Work Experience: Clinical Or Research (4 Years), Supervisory (1 Year)
• Driver's License: A driver's license is not required for this position.

Responsabilités

• May perform duties inclusive of those delegated to a Clinical Research Coordinator III and/or Clinical Research Supervisor.
• Assists in the management of the day-to-day functions of the research team.
• Utilizes critical thinking in the management of clinical trials.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures.
• Provides comprehensive direction to clinical research personnel.
• Supervises research team, including hiring, terminating, and scheduling assignments to personnel; provides performance feedback/annual reviews.
• Onboards, educates, and trains new staff; serves as a point of reference for current research staff.
• Identifies problems and/or inconsistencies with personnel and study conduct and develops and implements corrective action plans.
• Provides higher level oversight and management of all phases of study/protocol lifecycle.
