Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, IL, seeks an instructional Radiology Education Specialist to design, supervise, and implement a clinical education program in Radiology, coordinating learning objectives and student progress.

Requirements include an Associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, a radiographer license, and BLS; you will counsel students in the clinical setting and help them meet outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology is required.
  • 2 years of radiology experience is required.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • ARRT certification is required.
  • BLS certification is required.

Job description

Pay Range: $29.55 - $44.32 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Provides instruction, supervision, and implementation of a clinical education program in Radiology. This includes evaluating student progress towards learning objectives and counseling students in the clinical setting as needed.

Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.

Experience
  • 2 years of radiology experience is required.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
