  • Prepares, operates radiography equipment and records images as ordered.
  • Ensures safety and quality control procedures are followed.

Pay Range:$26.80 - $40.20A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patient. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.Position Specifics:o Department: Radiologyo Core Function: Imagingo Schedule: Weekends/Evening Shift/Full-time 3-12so Facility: St John’s Hospitalo Location: Springfield, ILo Sign On Bonus: up to $20,000o Compensation that aligns with your experienceEducation QualificationsBachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.Experience Qualifications1 year experience is preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsWI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
