Prestige Hospital System in California is seeking a Consulting Radiology Clinical Instructor to deliver hands-on laboratory instruction in our 18‑month program. You will guide students through psychomotor and applied radiography skills, under the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator, and supervise activities that align with course content and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent
• Current, unrestricted ARRT certification in Radiography - R(R)
• Current California Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers
• 5+ years of experience in radiology
• Applied clinical knowledge of radiographic positioning and patient care
• Knowledge of radiation-safety and ALARA principles
• Familiarity with JRCERT standards for lab instruction
• Skill in demonstrating psychomotor techniques and assessing students
• Strong interpersonal skills for small-group instruction and feedback
• Proficiency with office software and learning-management platforms

As a Consulting Radiology Clinical Instructor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, hands-on laboratory instruction to students in our 18-month program. You will guide students through the psychomotor and applied skills they need to master before demonstrating clinical competency. You will work under the direction of the Program Director and in coordination with the Clinical Coordinator. Your role will involve facilitating small-group laboratory sessions in Introduction to Patient Care and Introduction to Radiography. You will demonstrate and supervise energized and non-energized laboratory practice, reinforce radiation-safety and patient-care principles, and evaluate students' skill acquisition in a safe, equitable, and well-supervised environment.

Responsibilities

• Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography - R(R).
• Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) / state radiologic technology license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• 5+ years of experience in the field.
• Applied clinical knowledge of radiographic positioning, equipment operation, image production, and patient-care skills.
• Knowledge of radiation-safety and patient-safety principles, including ALARA, shielding, collimation, infection control, and safe patient handling.
• Familiarity with JRCERT Standards applicable to laboratory instruction.
• Skill in demonstrating psychomotor techniques and in evaluating students' skill acquisition with objective, documented criteria.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for small-group instruction, feedback, and student support.
• Proficiency with standard office software and learning-management/clinical-tracking platforms.
