Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) invites applications for a full-time Chair of Radiology based at CHA Cambridge Hospital in the Boston metro area. The Chair will lead clinical services, research, and training, ensuring high-quality, culturally sensitive patient care in alignment with CHA’s mission.

The role includes academic leadership, budget management, recruitment, and participation in CHA leadership committees.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiology.
• Massachusetts medical license or eligibility.
• 5+ years clinical leadership in a multi-site health system.
• Experience in medical education program development and provider mentorship.
• Excellent communication and dedication to culturally and linguistically appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical services, quality assurance, patient safety, and performance improvement with a minimum of 40% time dedicated to direct patient care.
• Direct teaching, research, and academic activities across undergraduate and graduate medical education.
• Jointly manage the departmental budget, set financial goals, and develop strategic plans with CHA leadership.
• Oversee recruitment, credentialing, orientation, and professional development of providers.
• Participate in CHA leadership structures and contribute to organizational priorities.
