Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week traveler assignment in Orange Park, FL. The role requires experience in the cath lab and current RCIS/RCES/RT(R) licensure with ACLS/BLS. Expect to scrub for LHC/PCI/STEMI and monitor patients throughout. Travel staff may float to prep/recovery areas and work every other weekend.

The environment features GE Innova and other modern equipment; a dedicated charge nurse supports daily flow in a 370-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as Cath Lab Tech.
• RCIS/RCES/RT(R) license required or eligible.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in LHC/PCI/STEMI and peripheral procedures.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes during cases.

Description:Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.The unit has approximately 370 beds.Equipment includes GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra.Documentation is managed through a specific EMR system.There are 4-10 hour shifts weekly.Floating may be required to support in prep/recovery area as needed.On-call schedule consists of 2 call teams with approximately 15-18 days per month.Procedures performed on this unit include diagnostic left heart catheterization, PCI, STEMI, stroke management, carotid stenting, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention.The work environment features newer procedure rooms and equipment.A dedicated charge nurse is available for the flow of the day.Staff members enjoy a friendly culture and supportive management.The area offers a variety of outdoor activities, including golf courses and trails.There is a well-known fall festival in the area.
