Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology / Cardiology Cath Lab Tech in Bridgeport, CT for a 13-week assignment. Minimum 1 year of experience and state license required; ARRT-R, ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.

Four 10-hour day shifts are scheduled with on-call duties 6–9 weekdays per month and weekend coverage every four weeks. The candidate will scrub, assist with interventional cardiovascular procedures, and maintain a sterile field.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and maintain a sterile field.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and cardiovascular procedures is required.
• ARRT-R, ACLS and BLS certifications are required and state license must be active or pending.

Responsabilités

• Scrub procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamics and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Support angioplasty, stent placement and pacemaker insertion as needed.
• Work with adult and geriatric patients; daily census 15–22.
• On-call: 6–9 weekdays per month with a 24-hour on-call weekend commitment.

Description:This position requires working four 10-hour shifts during the day.On-call is required for 6-9 weekdays per month, with a 24-hour on-call weekend commitment.Call days are scheduled over a four-week period, ensuring that patient needs are met.There are always three staff members available on call for emergency coverage.Weekend call is for both Saturday and Sunday together.There is a requirement for one weekend of call every four weeks.The candidate will be responsible for scrubbing procedures and maintaining a sterile field.Candidates must have experience in cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.Technical skills in hemodynamic monitoring, equipment setup, and patient care are essential.Accurate monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias are critical.Must be able to perform various procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertion.Candidates will work with adult and geriatric patient populations.The daily census in the unit ranges from 15 to 22 patients.
