Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening 5x8 shift covering Outpatient, Inpatient and ED in Everett, WA. The role supports Cardiac, Breast, and brain MRI studies with variable acuity from ambulatory to inpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT certification, and a WA license preferred. Travel assignment length is 13 weeks with guaranteed 60 hours per two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI systems for diverse exams (outpatient, inpatient, ED).
• Position patients and ensure safety protocols.

Shift: Evening (5x8 Hours) 15:00 23:30 Description: MRI Tech 5X8 Eves Monday-Friday Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Weekend REQ: No Call Required: Agency tech can take call, if they want to, but not required. Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes - coverage of Outpatient, Inpatient, ED needs Start Date: ASAP Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks, Traveler can be called off for 1 shift per 2 week period Years of Experience Required: 1 yr experience required Accepts First Time Travelers? Yes Certs Required: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT, WA License Preferred Experience with Neonates, Infancts, Peds, Adolescents Locals Accepted: No This MRI department does a multitude of different types of exams. Day shift is exposed to a few more specialized studies, like Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI. Night shift does more bread and butter scans, brains, spines, abdomens, extremities. The accuity of patient varies from ambulatory to total assist by RNs or other staff. More ambulatory patients during the day shift and more partial to total assist for inpatients during the night shift.
