Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a team-oriented Cath Lab Technician with cardiac catheterization experience for a 13-week contract across multiple NY locations within a 20-mile radius. The ideal candidate will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and be willing to float to hospitals as needed.

The candidate should have 18+ months in a Cath Lab, with RCVT/RCIS certifications preferred, and AHA ACLS/BLS required. EPIC charting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in a Cath Lab; 2 years preferred.
• RCVT certification is preferred; RCIS is also a plus.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and PPE requirements.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and support room circulation during procedures.
• Prepare and set up equipment for various cardiac procedures.

Job Description

We are seeking a team-oriented Cath Lab Technician with cardiac catheterization experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. Call duties are required, and the candidate should be willing to float to multiple hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE requirements.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and support room circulation during procedures.
• Prepare and set up equipment for various cardiac procedures.
• Perform roles as a scrub technologist specializing in Cath Lab procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in a Cath Lab; 2 years preferred.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) is preferred; RCIS is also a plus.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus.
