Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Charleston, SC. You will contribute to a dedicated cath lab team performing procedures with GE imaging and critical cardiac care. Responsibilities include assisting catheterization procedures, monitoring vitals, and ensuring equipment readiness while following safety protocols.

Weekend calls may be required. Current RN license with BLS/ACLS is required, and prior cath lab experience is essential.

Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Description

Join a dedicated team in the Cath Lab, where you will utilize your skills and experience to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing critical cardiac procedures. The unit consists of 2 labs, performing an average of 10 cases daily using advanced GE x-ray equipment. You will be responsible for administering emergency medications and assisting with procedures such as LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and follow-through of catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer emergency medications as needed.
• Ensure the maintenance of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in scheduled calls and weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
• Knowledge of advanced emergency medication protocols.
• Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
