LaborEdge, LLC is actively seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract in Allentown, PA. The role requires hands-on experience in diagnostic and interventional cath labs, with on-call responsibilities and potential weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, patient monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. BLS/ACLS and Epic experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath labs.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Schedule

Day shift available, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. On-call one night per week and every 4th or 5th weekend.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN with experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs. The ideal candidate must be able to provide high-quality patient care and be familiar with relevant protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist and circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications as needed and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in patient education and support to help them understand their treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
