Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Determine appropriateness of examinations and contact physicians to clarify or modify orders when necessary.
  2. Transfer patients on/off exam tables.
  3. Transport patients through the ER to the CT Scanner and/or radiology department.
  4. Answer telephones in a timely manner.
  5. Communicate with professionalism at all times.
  6. For outpatients, check prescriptions to ensure patient demographics are correct, physician signature present, and reason for exam listed.
  7. For inpatients, check requisitions for accuracy, including verify patient identification, physician's signature, and diagnosis.
  8. Arrange transport.
  9. Assist in procedure rooms.
  10. Update technologists with appointment status (cancellations, changes, etc.).

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  2. Excellent Communication Skills.
  3. Computer Skills Required.
  4. Enrolled in an accredited Radiology program; preferred.
  5. BLS required - American Heart Association.

Salary Range

USD $20.87 - USD $26.09 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
