Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Hospital Imaging Support is seeking a PACS Super User to assist Radiologists and staff in using PACS, RIS and the Clario reading system. You will troubleshoot issues, manage worklists, and ensure smooth image archiving and access to radiology reports.

In this role you will collaborate with physicians and technologists, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and help maintain efficient, accurate imaging workflows. Four years of healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in healthcare or a related field.
• Strong communication and courtesy when dealing with the public.
• Familiarity with Radiology Information System and imaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists with phone calls, wet reads and worklist management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PACS, RIS and Clario issues to support imaging staff.
• Understand image archiving workflows and radiology records for imaging and reports.
• Support radiologists and coworkers in utilization of PACS and associated systems.

Job Summary

Functions as a PACS Super User and is responsible for assisting the Radiologist and coworkers in the utilization of the PACS, RIS and the Radiologists reading system/Clario. Will have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the PACS, RIS, and Clario reading system to assist the Radiologists. Has the ability to understand and work with Image archiving, troubleshooting Imaging System (PACS). Has working knowledge of Radiology Records for imaging and reports. Assists the Radiologists with phone calls, WET READ results and Worklist management.

Required Qualifications

• Require four (4) years of experience in healthcare or a relevant industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer ability to meet and communicate with public in courteous and professional manner.
• Prefer demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Prefer ability to handle difficult customers or situations.
• Prefer knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS), as well as, commonly used computer applications in Radiology and other hospital-based systems.
• Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.
