Job summary

UNC Health Care System in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Radiology - VIR team. This full‑time, onsite role supports an interdisciplinary care model with a supervising physician, delivering high-quality, cost-effective care within the APP scope.

Requirements include completion of an accredited graduate‑level APRN or PA program, North Carolina APRN/PA licensure and board certification per department, and DEA.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Demonstrated clinical competency and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: obtain history, perform physicals, develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Education: educate patients/families and develop educational materials.
