Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (APRN/PA).
• Board certification as required by the department; DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams; develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order tests per privileging guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Document thoroughly to support billing and continuity of care.
