Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is seeking an experienced Radiology Aide for its Radiology Unit. You will greet patients, coordinate communications with radiologists, and document urgent results in EMR/PACS.

Responsibilities include CD burning, releasing information, and assisting with patient transport to ensure smooth imaging workflows. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, and an x-ray school background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of x-ray school preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients at the front desk and handles calls to facilitate urgent results.
• Documents procedures in EMR, PACS, and other IT systems.
• Burns CDs, processes release of information requests, and assists with patient transport.
• Faxes and calls reports to referring physicians; supports Reading Room and improvement projects.
