Job summary

Boston Medical Center is hiring a Radiology Tech Aide for weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM–11:30 PM, SEIU. The role supports radiologists, technologists and nurses with patient care, room preparation and basic clerical tasks.

The position requires a high school education and offers opportunities to work across the E. Newton and Shapiro Campuses with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires high school level knowledge in reading and writing (in English) and arithmetic to understand instructions.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to assist patients and staff.
• Preference given to individuals with medical terminology and basic patient care courses.
• Knowledge of room setup, sterilization, and supply stocking.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists, technologists, and nurses in technical and patient care duties.
• Maintain supplies and prepare exam rooms for x-ray procedures.
• Assist patients prior to procedures and handle reception/clerical duties as required.
• Work across E. Newton or Shapiro Campuses as needed.
