NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a Radiology Administrator to join the leadership team. You will drive delivery of radiology services and oversee the access center, pre-certification, and registrars across all imaging areas, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate scheduling.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years in finance and healthcare management, including large organizations and physician practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years' related work experience in finance and health care managing large and complex organizations, including physician practices.
• Experience in health care at an academic medical center is preferred.
• Significant management experience in a faculty-driven environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of clinical teaching, educational requirements, HR practices, and ambulatory billing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee radiology scheduling across CT, MRI, IR, US, X-ray, and breast imaging.
• Manage radiology access center, pre-certification team, and registrars.
• Provide physician services support and coverage scheduling.
• Ensure quality assurance and daily patient flow, and maintain scheduling templates.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve patient care.

Radiology Administrator

Drive the delivery of top-notch Radiology services at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The scope of this role includes the radiology access center, pre-certification team, registrars for all radiology areas. The administrator oversees all of radiology scheduling (including direct scheduling performed boy service line ASRs), physician services / support / coverage, quality assurance, daily patient flow and scheduling templates for CT, MRI, IR, US, Xray and Breast Imaging.

This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

• Master's degree in business or health care

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years' related work experience in finance and health care managing large and complex organizations, including physician clinical practices
• Relevant experience in health care, particularly at an academic medical center. Significant management experience in a faculty-driven environment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences among related projects, as well as a broad knowledge of the clinical teaching, educational requirements, human resources practices, ambulatory practice billing.
