Job summary

The Inland Imaging Professional Radiology Assistant I at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, works Monday–Friday 10am–6pm to manage incoming exams and support radiologists. You will handle patient records, coordinate with referring physicians, and ensure timely preparation of exams for interpretation.

Required are excellent communication skills, high organization, and HIPAA compliance. A high school diploma or GED is required; AA degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office or clerical setting is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming exams and facilitate efficient radiologist review and dictation.
• Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and staff to ensure accurate records.
• Prioritize exams, dispatch to meet turnaround times, and monitor schedules.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
