Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' GV Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS seeks a Radiologist to provide diagnostic imaging services for Veterans.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with light on-call duties and opportunities to contribute to quality care within a mission-driven team. Responsibilities include image interpretation, education of staff, and participation in committee work.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship in Musculoskeletal, Body or Neuroradiology preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret Musculoskeletal MRI, Lung cancer screening CT, LI-RADS Liver MRI, Prostate MRI, Renal/Rectal MRI, TI-RADS thyroid US.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and patient care services.
• Quality assurance and performance improvement.
• Oversight of technical quality.
• Education of staff and trainees.
• Committee assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
