Job summary

Gnosis is seeking a skilled Breast CT Technician to operate a Koning Breast CT in our mobile imaging unit in Orange County, CA. You will perform advanced mammographic imaging, ensure patient comfort, and work with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires radiology certification in California, 3+ years of breast imaging experience, and strict adherence to HIPAA and safety standards. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive health coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiology or related field.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - Mammographic Certificate (California) REQUIRED.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California) required.
• ARRT Certification or Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technologists preferred.
• At least 3 years of breast imaging radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Koning Breast CT in the mobile unit to obtain diagnostic breast images.
• Ensure patient prep, imaging, and result turnaround are explained to patients.
• Analyze images for labeling, quality, and abnormalities; adjust as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; perform quality checks.

Come be a part of something exciting!**Benefits:** We put our employees' health first by covering 100% of their medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums.**Travel:**This position will be based in our mobile imaging unit, which mainly operates in Santa Ana, however, it can be moved from time-to-time across Orange County.**Key Responsibilities:*** Operate specialized equipment, obtaining images that help physicians detect breast cancer and other breast diseases in their earliest stages.* Provide an overview of the entire process to the patient from patient prep, imaging and result turn-around time, including addressing any patient’s anxiety if needed.* Serve as the primary point of contact for operational troubleshooting and real-time problem resolution.* Evaluate the images to ensure that they contain proper identification and labeling and are of diagnostic quality.* Analyzing images to assess quality, identifying any abnormalities, and making necessary adjustments for optimal imaging* Maintaining and troubleshooting mammography equipment, performing regular quality control checks, and promptly reporting any malfunctions* Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals regarding patient findings* Maintain and clean mammography equipment and report any technical issues to appropriate personnel* Stay updated on the latest advancements in imaging technology and techniques.* Maintains cleanliness and safety of the procedure room by following all infection control procedures.* Have clear understanding of safety protocols related to radiation exposure and management.* Ensure compliance with patient safety protocols, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance standards for radiology services and healthcare services.* Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, state-specific radiology standards, and other healthcare related requirements.* Assists in coordinating and scheduling of events, health screenings, and visits for the mobile units throughout the year to serve partner communities.## Qualifications**Requirements:*** Associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiology or related field* Certified Radiologic Technologist - Mammographic Certificate (California)-REQUIRED* Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California),* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification or Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT), Preferred* At least 3-year experience in performing breast imaging radiology or imaging services.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Strong people skills with the ability to act as tier 1-2 tech supportWe believe in the power of diversity and the strength it brings to our team.
