Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a radiologist for on-site locum tenens coverage in North Carolina. Shifts are 8–9 hours, with an average of 30 screening and 4 diagnostic mammograms daily, plus 0–1 biopsy. General diagnostic radiology reading is required and hospital privileges may be needed.

Assignments include paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and access to a Weatherby consultant 24/7. Weatherby has specialized expertise in locum tenens staffing since 1995.

Qualifications

• General diagnostic radiology reading required.
• Mammography (screening and diagnostic) and biopsy procedures required.
• Hospital privileges may be required for assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site radiology coverage (minimum 1 week per month).
• Perform avg. 30 screening mammograms, 4 diagnostic mammograms, 0–1 biopsy per day.
• Manage procedures in a hospital setting with weathered workflows.
