Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a reliable radiology specialist for on-site locum tenens coverage in North Carolina. Responsibilities include diagnostic radiology reading with emphasis on mammography screening and diagnostic workups, plus related biopsy procedures as needed.

The assignment offers weekly on-site shifts (8–9 hours) and includes paid malpractice insurance, travel and housing advance, and 24/7 Weatherby support through an assigned consultant; NAS and long-standing staffing partner

• General diagnostic radiology reading required.
• Mammography (screening and diagnostic) and biopsy procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Read general diagnostic radiology images and interpretations.
• Perform mammography screening and diagnostic procedures, including biopsies as needed.

Job description

Minimum 1 week/month of on-site coverage -- 8 - 9 hour shifts

Avg. 30 screening mammograms, 4 diagnostic mammograms, 0 - 1 biopsy/day

General diagnostic radiology reading required
