Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a physician with a MD/DO and an active unrestricted license to join our radiology service in support of high-quality patient care across Veterans Affairs facilities.

The role requires board eligibility or certification in radiology, with duties including interpretation of mammography, CT, MRI and PET studies, timely reporting, and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an MD or DO degree and be licensed to practice in the United States.
  • Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
  • Board certification or eligibility in radiology per VA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report radiology studies including mammography, PET, CT, and MRI.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks and ensure timely dictation and signing of reports.
  • Collaborate with ordering providers and participate in clinical conferences.
  • May participate in teaching radiology residents and medical students.
