Job summary

Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital seeks a part-time radiologist to diagnose, prevent, and treat patient health concerns, delivering high-quality medical services on-site. You will collaborate with radiology and hospital teams to ensure safe, effective care and timely communication with families and referring physicians.

You will participate in on-call, weekend coverage, and quality improvement initiatives while mentoring fellows and residents in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical license in MI, held/currently in good standing.
• DEA registration for controlled substances.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive, productive relationships with Corewell Health personnel to promote safety, teamwork and clinical excellence.
• Provide high-quality medical services with cost-effective, appropriate care.
• Communicate care plans with patients’ families and referring physicians, within set timeframes.
• Participate in on-call coverage and quality improvement activities.
• Supervise fellows, residents, PAs, and students as appropriate.
