Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI seeks a skilled physician to diagnose, prevent, and treat health issues in a hospital setting. You will collaborate with radiology peers and hospital teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and robust care coordination.

The role includes on-call and weekend coverage, emphasis on value-based care, and ongoing participation in quality improvement and clinical trials. Active MI MD/DO licenses and required certifications are essential.

Qualificações

• Doctorate required.
• MD or DO license for Michigan required upon hire.
• DEA registration required for practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop positive, productive relationships with Corewell Health personnel and promote a safety-focused culture.
• Provide high quality medical care with internal and external stakeholders, aiming to exceed patient expectations.
• Assist in meeting operational, financial and patient satisfaction goals.
• Complete competencies and organizational mandatories on time.
• Assess and monitor medical needs and provide cost-effective care.
• Communicate plan of care with families and referring physicians within 24 hours of major changes and prior to discharge.
• Document services in medical records per standards and regulations.
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage.
• Participate in value-based programs, quality initiatives, QA/QI and peer review.
• Assist in policy development related to medical practice and patient care.
• Engage in process improvements through clinical paths and related activities.
• Support clinical trials and research with safety/efficacy data review.
• Provide mentorship to fellows, residents, APPs, and students as appropriate.
