Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Radiologist to provide consistent in-person coverage in the Radiology Department. The role includes fluoroscopy, MSK injections, diagnostic mammography, and a broad range of imaging studies to support veteran care.

Fellowship training in Abdominal (CT/MRI/US) and nonvascular interventional radiology is preferred, with opportunities for research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in Abdominal (CT/MRI/US) and nonvascular interventional radiology.
• Proficient in performing General Fluoroscopy exams and interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, plain film).
• Supervise and interpret abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging; direct patient care and supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and supervision of technologists and radiology trainees.
• Teaching and coordination of the educational program for trainees.
• Oversee service protocols, technologist supervision, and interdisciplinary communication to uphold best practices.
