Kent State University is seeking a Radiological Technology Program Director to lead all operational, instructional, and financial activities of the Radiologic Technology Program at the Ashtabula Campus, OH.

This full-time academic leadership position oversees accreditation compliance, budget, policies, and program development. It may include teaching up to three 3-hour courses annually and collaboration with university committees to ensure alignment with standards.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field; four years of relevant experience.
• Eligible individuals must meet the required criteria for adjunct/part-time faculty status.
• Must pass a security check.

• Identify and secure program funding opportunities.
• Establish objectives and develop strategies for achieving objectives.

• Serve on various University committees.
• Teach up to three 3-hour courses (or equivalent) per academic year if responsible for an academic program.
• May provide leadership of a small department, unit, or major function and/or provide direct supervision over administrative/professional employees.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Basic Function: To direct all operational, administrative, instructional, and financial activities of a designated academic program or student service function. Reports to designated supervisor.

Additional Basic Function – if applicable: Provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Radiologic Technology Program, including organization, administration, assessment, and development of the program while ensuring compliance with university policies, accreditation requirements, and professional standards.
