Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, seeks a Radiologic Technologist – Special Procedures/Cath Lab to perform advanced imaging for interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role requires current CRT and ARRT licensure, along with fluoroscopy credentials, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. Southwest HealthcareRancho Springs Hospital inMurrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

The Radiologic Technologist – Special Procedures/Cath Lab is responsible for performing highly specialized imaging procedures to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and radiologic procedures. This role provides critical technical expertise in the Catheterization Lab and Special Procedures suite, ensuring high quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient workflow during complex and minimally invasive procedures. The technologist prepares and operates advanced imaging equipment while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique. This position collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team to support real time image guidance during procedures such as embolization, peripheral angiography, cardiac catheterizations, drain placements, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and other cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. The technologist also assists with patient assessment and preparation, contrast administration under supervision, accurate documentation, equipment maintenance, and emergency response within the procedural environment. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high acuity setting are essential.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

• Graduate from a certified school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license along with fluro license.
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (AART) license.
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• ACLS completed within 6 months of hire.
• 6 months to 1 year as a Rad Tech in an acute care facility
