Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join the diagnostic radiology team in Florence. The role requires performing imaging across multiple modalities and delivering patient-centered care.

The candidate will explain procedures to patients and ensure competency before performing them. Education requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, with ARRT registration and SC licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must be ARRT registered and SC Radiation Standards licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Job Description

Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

Experience: None/Graduates welcome

License/Certification

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
