Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a FT CT/X-Ray/IR Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in Florence, SC. The ideal candidate will operate CT, X-Ray and IR equipment under radiologist supervision and provide high-quality patient care.

On-the-job MRI/CT training is available for qualified applicants. Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, SC license, and BLS certification, with MRI/CT experience

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• One year of radiologic experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• MRI/CT Experience is preferred but not required. On the Job training to learn MRI/CT available

Responsibilities

• Perform CT/X-Ray/IR procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor.
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment for the above examinations.
• Exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs of all patient demographics.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Job Description

FT CT/X-Ray/IR Technologist , under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor, performs procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary.

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

• One year of radiologic experience.

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
