Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or associate degree preferred.
• Experience in radiological fields or health physics is preferred.
• Completion of DOE Core Radiological Control Technician training is preferred.
• Experience with radiological surveys and contamination monitoring is desirable.
• Ability to read procedures, permits, and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological surveys, area surveys, and contamination surveys.
• Conduct personnel monitoring and support contamination control practices.
• Use radiological monitoring equipment per site procedures and document results.
• Provide on‑the‑floor EH&S and operational support to teams.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
