Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of college (math or science program), or vocational school Radiological Technician program is preferred.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain radiological controls qualifications.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) “L” security clearance.
  • Special Note: If not previously Article 108 RCT qualified, relocation to Norfolk, Virginia for ~6 months to attend RCTQS.

Responsibilities

  • Provides radiological oversight and leadership for all crew personnel to ensure the highest radiological standards are kept.
  • Performs radiological surveys of work, work areas, and accurately documents radiological surveys.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of college (math or science program), or vocational school Radiological Technician program is preferred.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain radiological controls qualifications.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) “L” security clearance.
  • Special Note: Successful candidate not previously Article 108 RCT qualified, will be required to temporarily relocate to Norfolk, Virginia to attend Radiological Controls Technician Qualification School (RCTQS) for approximately six months.

Pay: $34.60-$42.72

The starting rate for this position in Idaho (US-ID) is $34.60-42.72 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
