UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Radiologic/X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams and oversee protocols, operating under physicians and maintaining equipment. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with radiology staff.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT and Texas licensure, and BLS certification. Mon-Fri 2:30PM-11PM; full-time with competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess an AMA-approved Radiologic Sciences program degree or equivalent.
• ARRT and Texas Medical Board licensure required; active status preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC required by start date.

Responsabilités

• Review physician orders for accuracy and discuss findings with radiologists.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent; screen for contrast use and allergies.
• Ensure accurate patient labeling and documentation of images in the EHR.
• Maintain QC tests and uphold radiation safety standards per ALARA principles.
