Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida (JISF) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team in Fort Myers, with occasional coverage in Cape Coral or Naples. The role emphasizes daytime hours, no weekends, no on-call shifts, and a supportive physician-owned private practice environment.

You will operate X-ray and C-arm equipment, coordinate with physicians, and contribute to efficient patient flow while maintaining high safety standards and accurate imaging records.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (RT(R)) certification.
• Active Florida X-Ray license.
• Current BLS certification through AHA (or obtain within 60 days).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and radiographic positioning.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital X-ray equipment and C-arm technology for diagnostic imaging.
• Perform accurate, timely X-rays while maintaining clinic flow.
• Safely position patients and follow radiation protection practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and imaging staff on workflows.
• Review and prepare patient charts for upcoming clinics.
• Retrieve outside imaging and provide copies to patients when requested.

Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida (JISF) is a physician-owned private medical practice specializing in Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain Management.

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team.

This position will be primarily based in our Fort Myers office, with occasional floating to our Cape Coral or Naples office as needed.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play an important role in supporting our physicians and providing patients with a positive experience. Under the direction of the Imaging Manager, you'll:

• Operate digital X-ray equipment and C-arm technology for diagnostic and procedural imaging.
• Perform accurate, timely X-rays while maintaining an efficient clinic flow.
• Safely position patients and follow appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Work closely with physicians, learning their individual preferences and workflows.
• Review and prepare patient charts for upcoming clinics.
• Retrieve outside imaging and provide copies of X-rays to patients when requested.
• Maintain accurate imaging records, files, and departmental documentation.
• Keep the imaging area clean, organized, and ready for patients.
• Assist the Imaging Manager with administrative responsibilities.
• Support teammates and other departments when needed.
• Provide compassionate, professional care to every patient.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (RT(R)) certification
• Active Florida X-Ray license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and radiographic positioning
• Ability to operate imaging equipment effectively and safely
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, physicians, and coworkers
• Comfortable working with multiple computer systems
• One year of experience preferred
