Job summary

Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida (JISF) seeks a compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team in Fort Myers, with occasional trips to Cape Coral or Naples. You will operate digital X-ray and C-arm equipment, ensuring precise imaging and smooth clinic flow while maintaining patient safety and care.

Requirements include ARRT RT(R) certification, Florida X-Ray license, and BLS. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, attention to detail, and strong patient

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (RT(R)) certification.
• Active Florida X-Ray license.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and radiographic positioning.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment effectively and safely.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, physicians, and coworkers.
• Comfortable working with multiple computer systems.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital X-ray equipment and C-arm technology for diagnostic and procedural imaging.
• Participate in efficient clinic flow by performing accurate, timely X-rays.
• Safely position patients and follow radiation protection practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and learn individual preferences and workflows.
• Review and prepare patient charts for upcoming clinics.
• Retrieve outside imaging and provide copies of X-rays to patients when requested.
• Maintain imaging records, files, and departmental documentation.
• Keep imaging area clean, organized, and ready for patients.
• Assist Imaging Manager with administrative responsibilities.
• Support teammates and other departments as needed.
• Provide compassionate, professional patient care.
