Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform ionizing radiation procedures, operate x-ray equipment, and maintain ALARA standards. You will collaborate with a diverse medical team and may work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT-R Radiography and RT Radiologic Technologist credentials, with a vocational/associate degree and BLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Regulate and operate x-ray equipment and ensure ALARA standards.
• Establish professional rapport with staff and medical team; may work at multiple facilities.
