WellNow Urgent Care in the United States is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic exams, manage patient prep, and ensure safety and quality. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, use of EMR for documentation, and collaboration with the medical team to support efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Understanding anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing and patient movement.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Proper identification of patient and confirmation of ordered examination.
• Prepares patients for radiological procedures and conducts x-rays following safety procedures.
• Obtains detailed history from the patient and notes observations during radiologic examination.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensures radiology equipment is functioning and reports malfunctions.
• Completes Radiologic Procedures in EMR and notes for billing.
• Obtains pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans.
