Rothman Orthopaedics in Hamilton, NJ seeks an entry-level Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and perform epidural procedures according to physician protocols. The role includes preparing patients, obtaining history, ensuring ALARA safety, and maintaining equipment.

Day shift; 24 hours per week across three 8-hour shifts. Requires Associates degree, NJ radiology licensure, and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT certification and ongoing renewal.
• NJ radiology licensure required for NJ positions.
• Knowledge of x-ray and epidural procedures is required.
• Able to operate all equipment including processors and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the appropriate room.
• Obtain patient history to ensure proper scheduling.
• Explain exams to patients and address questions.
• Maintain patient safety and ALARA practices during imaging.
• Perform high-quality radiographs and react to density/contrast issues.
• Assist with fluoroscopic procedures (epidural injections).
• Report equipment problems and participate in training of staff.
