Location- Wilmington, Delaware
Tasks and Responsibilities
- The incumbent shall perform and process X-rays utilizing portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit or transmit the resulting images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- The individual will be responsible for unloading portable X-ray equipment and transporting it to designated facilities to conduct examinations as ordered by the attending physician. It is essential to obtain x-ray images that are clinically diagnostic and technically proficient.
- Additionally, the individual will perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as required and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Exam-related paperwork and billing documents must be scanned daily in accordance with established protocols.
- Effective communication with dispatch and management is vital, as is the ability to interact professionally and efficiently with colleagues, supervisory staff, and clients. The maintenance of the vehicle and X-ray equipment is also a critical responsibility.
Requirements
Candidates must maintain the requisite State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, adhere to health requirements, and fulfill all operational criteria. A valid driver’s license in the applicable state is required, with a status of good standing at all times.
