Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for the Weekender (Overnight) role at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. The position is full-time (.9 FTE, 36 hours/week), with an overnight shift and competitive benefits.

Qualifications include a JRCERT-accredited radiology program, ARRT certification (or within 1 year), Nebraska radiography license, and BLS within 30 days. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or transfer date.
  • Nebraska state Radiographer license or limited license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from an AHA-endorsed program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure high quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the radiology department.
  • Operate radiology equipment and ensure safety protocols to support accurate, timely imaging and patient experience.
