Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an EP Invasive Cardiology Technologist at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. This radiologic technologist role focuses on invasive cardiology procedures in the cath lab, offering on-the-job training and career growth within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Ideal candidates have a radiologic tech background, state license, ARRT or RCIS, ACLS/BLS within required windows, and strong teamwork; relocation and tuition benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of allied health/cardiovascular technology.
• Knowledge of proper body mechanics.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility.
• Current Nebraska State Medical Radiographer license.
• RT registration and ARRT licensure or RCIS within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS within 60 days; BLS within 30 days (AHA endorsed).

Responsibilities

• Utilize departmental resources to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Perform EP procedures with careful attention to patient safety and quality imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain documentation and procedural records for cath/EP lab.
• Maintain licensure and certification requirements as needed.
