Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC, is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures across multiple imaging areas with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT in radiography (or within 18 months), BLS certification, and either new graduate or experienced technologists. Weekend option with pay premium and relocation/commitment incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in radiography, or within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to image designated anatomical areas.
• Adjust exposure techniques per safety guidelines.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them correctly.
• Assist fluoroscopic procedures and monitor equipment.
• Process and match images for interpretation and record keeping.
• Support OR, ED, outpatient and portable imaging as needed.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff.
