Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an experienced or new graduate Radiologic Technologist for the Operating Room. The role involves operating x-ray equipment, positioning patients, and assisting during fluoroscopic procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications include AMA approved radiology training and ARRT certification (or within 12 months). Eligible for a $15,000 commitment bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance; weekend option includes WEO premium incentive pay.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in radiologic procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographs of designated anatomical areas with proper exposure techniques.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them accordingly.
• Monitor equipment and assist physicians during fluoroscopic procedures.
• Process and match images with appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
• Provide education and orientation to new radiology staff and program affiliates.
