Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The department uses Siemens Alpha and GE 64-slice CT technology to support ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging in a patient-centered environment.

This full-time, 1st shift role involves routine CT exams, IV access, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists. ARRT CT certification and BLS are required within specified timelines; weekend option with WEO pay is

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARRT CT certification required within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following safety procedures.
• Position patients for CT scans and ensure appropriate shielding.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and contrast administration.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and label sequences accordingly.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Provide training to student technologists and assist in protocol development.
