Job summary

Premier Health Partners' MVH in Ohio seeks a Radiologic Technologist to independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, coordinate patient flow, and ensure equipment safety.

Requires Associate degree, ARRT RT (R) certification, ODH licensure, and BLS with 30 days of hire; no prior experience required, one year preferred.

This full-time role includes on-call potential and supports the Medical Imaging unit.

Qualifications

• Anatomy knowledge required.
• Proficient with EMR systems.
• Proficient with RIS and image storage.
• Knowledge of radiation safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures of quality as ordered and evaluates images for technical quality.
• Obtains clinical history for correlation with procedures.
• Implements safety and QC procedures as required.
• Prepares and administers contrast media per policy.
• Assists Radiologist in procedures and emergencies as needed.
• Coordinates patient care to optimize time and satisfaction.
• Educates patients about procedures and exams.
• Records and verifies orders and reports for billing purposes.
• Maintains emergency equipment knowledge.
• Follows radiation safety policies and procedures.
