Job summary

Premier Health in Dayton is seeking a part-time Radiology Tech for the Medical Imaging unit at Miami Valley North. Shifts are Nights-Wednesday-Thursday 7P-730A. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with proper techniques and manage patient flow under your licensure scope.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT RT(R) registry, CPR within 30 days, and Ohio licensure. Prior hospital imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• ODH licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques.
• Coordinates patient flow and activities of the Radiology Department.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and follows radiation safety protocols.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed; may have on‑call duties.

Responsibilities

Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
