The Radiologic Technologist will provide excellent service to patients while performing quality x-rays per physician's orders in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting.
This is a part-time (0.8) position working Monday - Thursday at our Two Twelve Surgery Center in Chaska. Hours may vary depending on the surgery schedule.

Essential Functions:
- Perform and develop quality x-rays on designated body parts for physician diagnosis and treatment.
- Inform and prepare patients for procedures.
- Maintain Radiology files, including films.
- Prepare, clean, and stock the work area with supplies.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Follow safety precautions for radiation exposure.
- Supply patients with x-rays as requested by surgeons.
- Prioritize and provide care based on individual care plans, and be flexible with staffing and duties.
- Provide timely, efficient, and safe care and supplies, considering the needs of various age groups.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth surgical experiences.
- Apply aseptic techniques and precautions.
- Complete activities promptly to avoid delays, seeking assistance when needed.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding unit activity, patient conditions, and personnel concerns.
- Report incidents according to established procedures.
- Support the development and education of colleagues, students, and orientees.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and meet departmental requirements.
- Help manage costs by using resources efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
- Current ARRT Certification in radiology.
- Previous radiology experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification or to be completed upon hire.

- Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience.
- A $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable on the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible.
