Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographs across our facilities in New Jersey. The role involves patient positioning, image acquisition, and ensuring patient safety in line with ALARA principles.

The candidate will perform portable exams, coordinate with care teams, and manage administrative tasks related to scheduling, documentation, and image handling using EPIC, PACS, and TeleTracking systems. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or GED equivalent).
• AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic exams by positioning patients and selecting technical factors.
• Gather information from medical records and providers to prepare scanning protocols.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and ensure safe collimation.
• Perform portable x-ray exams in patient rooms and ERs.
• Identify images correctly with patient name and MRN# and mark laterality.
