Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality. You will review orders, document findings, and support radiologists during procedures while ensuring ALARA compliance and HIPAA adherence.

The role requires ARRT certification or timing for certification, AMA‑approved educational training, and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Two years of Radiologic Technology training through an AMA‑approved program or equivalent
• ARRT certification required or to be obtained within one year of hire
• Current NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure or MA Radiologic Technologist License, as required by location

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology examinations (trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast) according to department protocols
• Review patient information and verify physician orders
• Complete required documentation and patient questionnaires
• Evaluate images for quality before radiologist interpretation
• Assist radiologists during invasive fluoroscopic procedures
• Prepare and administer oral, IV, and rectal contrast agents
• Operate portable radiographic equipment and transport equipment as needed
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety standards
• Use RIS, PACS, and other systems for imaging workflow and documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA
• Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions
• Support onboarding and education of new team members
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
